Photographs and Graphic Works in the US National Archives - This link allows the viewing of the archived stills photography at College Park, Maryland and the Regional Archives, Presidential Libraries and Materials at various locations.


Britain From Above (1919-1953) - It is a huge collection of aerial photographs taken by a company named Aerofilms during the 1920s to the 50s.


NCAP - National Collection of Aerial Photography - The National Collection of Aerial Photography (NCAP) is home to 30 million unique images, featuring historic events spanning 100 years and over 170 territories.

These photographic images are grouped into collections on the basis of the bodies that accumulated them. Some of these collections - such as the Joint Air Reconnaissance Intelligence Centre (JARIC) - contain millions of images and are still growing. Others are only a few thousand strong and record long-since completed projects.


Cambridge Digital Library - Cambridge University’s Collection of Aerial Photographs, CUCAP, represents a unique, long and proud tradition of aerial survey and interpretation in the British Isles and Europe, started by the pioneering Roman archaeologist JK St Joseph. Historic England. - ViewFinder is a website showcasing historic photographs of England taken from the collections held by the Historic England Archive. The photographs on the website include historic buildings, archaeological sites, aerial photographs and social history pictures. The archive holds over 12 million photographs and drawings documenting England’s historic environment.
